The Sun is in Scorpio now, and this is one of my favorite transits and times of the year. My love for this season is in part due to the weather, but I also just love the energy of this time of year. I feel like people are more open somehow. Or maybe they just feel easier to read, since I am an empath. The other side feels nearer, which is strangely comforting.
This week has some intense moments. Scorpio is part of that, but the Sun squares Saturn on Saturday and that can be a bit of a downer for some. However, some people feel productive and focused during that aspect. There is definitely room for productivity, discovery, and power plays this week. Mercury is a bit all over the place, so we may be a bit moody and maybe even conflicted. When Mercury moves into Scorpio on the 5th, that conflict will melt away and be replaced with clarity and depth. Until then, we may be better served by just focusing on ourselves and enjoying whatever is around to offer enjoyment. Interactions with difficult people could be frustrating and interactions with new people may leave us feeling a bit bored or unimpressed. Rose colored glasses are something to be aware of this week too. If you temporarily pull back from other people a bit, you are likely to enjoy your own company more than usual. Writing and poetry and whatever kind of music floats your boat are favored this week.
Shave your legs, change your sheets, open your windows, and drink the good wine. It’s that kind of week...enjoy it.

ARIES - The Scorpio sun lights up your juicy 8th house, suggesting that interpersonal and intimate relationships are at the forefront. Old “stuff” and feelings may rise to the surface from the depths where you thought you left them. They come up now for complete healing and positive transformation. You are encouraged to say yes to opportunities and adventures this month, but follow your gut and don’t force yourself.

GEMINI - It is time to reclaim your schedule and your routine, and be more in service to yourself. This time of year, your mental bonfire can take a backseat to more sensory input thanks to the season. As you allow yourself to take it in, also do some emotional work around forgiveness of self and others this month. Rearrange your obligations, appointments, or whatever is within your control, and design a routine that feels more nourishing to you.
CANCER - Your 5th house of play is lit up during Scorpio season. You can bite off a big ol’ hunk of magical belief and frolic in the mystery of the season. You can let go of practicality for a bit and just let your inner child jump in the puddles and leaves and give your whole self a break from reality. Your cup will also be refilled by being around the sights and sounds of water. Even if it is just the sound of your bathtub filling up, let your mind wander while you do so.
LEO - The parts of your personality that are normally extroverted may be lingering around the home front quite a bit more this season. Whatever you do, build a fire in your fireplace or firepit and really feed that Leo soul. This time closer to home will offer you healing and security. If you feel you’ve been wronged either recently, or something from the way back past has risen to the surface, the literal hearth can offer a lot of healing and safety. Lean in to your family (chosen or birth) or roots to gather in the wisdom and love of others.
VIRGO - This Scorpio season it is time for you to use your voice, literally. If you are a writer, it is time to put yourself out there. If you have been avoiding the spotlight out of fear or timidity, lean in to the energy of Scorpio to give you boldness. If there is something you need to say to someone, this is the time. It is OK to stand out from the crowd, even if you do feel incredibly vulnerable while doing it.
LIBRA - This Scorpio season, get out your manifesting wares and get busy. You have an opportunity to bring a long held dream into fruition. The timing is right, and when opportunity knocks, you’ll be ready to answer. Trust the Divine to bring this to you. You may feel uncomfortable at first about surrendering control and feeling like you need to work harder to have more. Remember: joy is your Divine birthright. Let it show up for you.
SCORPIO - This is obviously your time to shine. But your time doesn’t just begin and end with Scorpio season. Use this time of year to really give back to yourself. Nurture yourself. Spoil yourself to the extent that you’re able (and that doesn’t always require money if that’s your excuse). Luxuriate more. Fill your home with sensory gifts. Do something as simple as taking better care of your skin, because really we are talking about the 1st house...and that kind of IS your skin, isn’t it? Anyway, be Oprah for yourself this month.
SAGITTARIUS - You’re going through a really deep journey at the moment, and parts of it are difficult. But other parts are blissful. If you aren’t experiencing the latter, then maybe you need to let yourself off the hook just a bit. Day dream. Fantasize. Recall the wishes and dreams and longings you had when you were younger. A lot of things are going to fall in to place for you next year. Take this time, in this season of diving deep, to remember the desires of your soul.
CAPRICORN - Change the pace of your life a bit so that it matches the rhythm of your soul. Great accomplishments are ahead for you, but rushing and burning the candle at both ends won’t get you there any faster. Some things you must just surrender to Divine timing. As the child of Saturn, you know this already. So settle down. Slow down. When was the last time you allowed yourself to be swept up in the energy of the holidays? You need that, so step in to the healing glow of twinkle lights and fireplace chats and thinking about making your dreams come true.
AQUARIUS - Your career is slated for a significant breakthrough pretty soon. But your moral compass may be tested in the meantime. Are you ready to handle the additional power that you will have? What about the money? What about the attention? The Universe will be letting you practice what you preach in preparation. Walk the walk, and be brave and honest.
PISCES - Take time during this deep season to examine your personal beliefs and philosophies about life, love, success, etc. Are you surrounded with people who inspire you? Do you give too much power to the opinions of other people in regards to the direction of your dreams? Your own voice is the most important. There is healthy compromise, and there is unhealthy compromise...do you know the difference? Take time this month to figure that out.
