Venus to the rescue - BitchScopes for August 1-8

Well, HellOOO August. In true Leo fashion, August starts off with a bang. On Sunday July 31, Uranus conjuncted the North Node, which presents shake ups to the direction we are headed.

I would like to interject that I am SO.TIRED. of living in extraordinary times. Boredom, where art thou? I miss thee…

Ok anyway, then on August 1st Mars hops into the line up, creating this triple conjunction that I’m sure you’ve heard about several times now. This is very rare. Uranus and the North Node meet up every 15 years, but they haven’t been in Taurus together since ancient times - i.e. a long ass time ago! To have the 3 of them together is remarkable. And do we ever need some Divine shake ups here on Earth! Everyone be cray! All the countries and all the humans and errrrthang be cuckoo! A friend of mine was commenting on the very hot weather here and jokingly said “does God hate us?” Another friend replied “I would if I was God”. It made me chuckle. Sometimes I wonder if God/Goddess regrets how much free will we have. But I digress…

So….the month starts off with this major shake up. There’s a sense of urgency, sudden changes, plot twists, total upheavals. Can’t wait. Good times. The good news is that this isn’t exactly a personal experience, it is more of a societal or collective vibe. But Mars is a personal planet so I think we might feel frustrated and have to keep our impulsivity in check.

Unexpected love and/or money could show up, because Venus enters, stage left, tosses her lovely hair, gazes at us with her twinkling eyes, and distracts us all with charm and beauty and sexual goodness. There is a strong theme of feminine energy and healing the feminine this week, as well as some good love and sex juju for relationships.

You should check in with yourself and see how you might be censoring yourself unnecessarily. This could be sexual - maybe you want something from your partner that you’ve not asked for. Or it could be that you water down your personality to not rock the boat at work. Work on letting those inhibitions go. This is the work of the current lunar nodes in Taurus and Scorpio. In order to realize and feel the stability we long for, we have to release the shit that drains us, and in Scorpio, that’s wounds, shadows, secrets, taboo stuff, etc. Let that shit go! Holding it in is holding you back.

As next week begins, there could be some relationship bumps with jealousy, or just intensity in general. Looking ahead to the month of August overall, our best bet is to keep our energy close to us, focus on our own healing, and stay light on our feet as course corrections occur. Where we feel frustrated or stifled, we can recalibrate and find solutions. Reactionary energy is not the best use of your personal resources. Be chill, Bitch.

But I am feeling sorta OK about Instagram, even though they are screwing it up and making it TikTok-y. That is actually a great illustration of the current energies….Be your unique, original, badass self. Don’t morph yourself into something just because it makes other people comfortable or it's the current trend. YOU need to be comfortable in your own flesh suit, and that means letting go of outside pressures and expectations. Changing the world starts with changing individuals, and that means healing your own shit.

ARIES - You can find comfort and feel soothed when you are at home this week. You have a great gift for problem solving at work while Mercury is in Virgo, but you’re better off directing most of your energy into your home life. Check yourself to make sure you’re not using your keen mind and detective skills to be too nosey about other people’s lives or business. Mind your damn business, and use your creativity to decorate your house.

TAURUS - You will feel your best this week when you are connected with your friends and peers. Good conversation and company will fill your cup. Romance drama can be diffused with playfulness, lightness, and fun. If you’re having romantic drama, again, it’s time for you to pull your energy back from the source of the drama, especially if it is your ex. If your thoughts and memories are coloring your mood, you gotta let that shit go so you don’t poison the water of your current relationships.

GEMINI - This week you should think about things that feel luxurious. It might be a fancy massage, or a scented bath. It might just be a candlelit day curled up on the couch with some really tasty snacks. Indulge yourself to comfort yourself. You will be in problem solving or fix-it mode with things around the house, or maybe (I hope not) a family squabble. Let go of the need for things to be intense in order for them to feel important, especially at work. Not everything you do needs to be a profound and world-changing feat.

CANCER - You have the attractive and seductive powers of Venus in your 1st house this week. This is a good time for a new hairdo, or wardrobe upgrade if you feel an itch for that. Otherwise, enjoy the goddess energy at your fingertips. Misunderstandings will be solved with relative ease, in part because of Mercury in your 3rd house, and in part because of that Venusian charm you have access to. Work on letting go of being a drama queen, especially as it relates to any creative projects you have.

LEO - Family drama may have you feeling like hiding and just meditating until it all goes away. If you can avoid getting pulled into any family scuffles, do. Your relationship, or your ego, may feel like it needs a little more privacy, or protection, possibly from the family drama. Overall, intimacy and seclusion might soothe any rough edges you feel this week. This is a good week for you to re-do your budget, shuffle your money around, and otherwise solve financial issues.

VIRGO - You should have pleasant interactions and friend experiences this week, thanks to Venus’ placement in your chart. Mercury in exaltation in your 1st house will give you lots of confidence and you might speak up for yourself more than usual. Your problem solving abilities will be super on point. Use your powers for good, though, and avoid any petty arguments. Yes, you can win them, but it is usually unimportant. Avoid “right fighting”, and focus on your friends and people in your tribe, rather than trying to “convert” people.

LIBRA - You will be a success magnet this week. People you meet can help you on your path. Mercury is transiting your 12th house, and you might be prone to “ennui”, thinking about stuff in the past, and you might be afraid of sharing your opinion, or receiving judgment. Guess what…fuck that. You are already a success, and speaking up for yourself is healthy, and other people’s opinions are …plffffft. Avoid getting caught up in “keeping up with the whoevers”. Don’t value yourself based on what your income is, or how nice your house is. Your value is not in material things, it's in your heart.

SCORPIO - Relationship drama…you? Um, yes. Intensity and “passion” in relationships aren’t necessarily an indicator of relationship health. If you tend to be attracted to “passion”, let’s figure that out. For real. Call me, because this is my area of expertise. If you know this about yourself and it's something you’ve been working on, great. If you need respite and soothing, you will find it with your friends and peers. Go on a trip with your pals. Find some adventure with your tribe.  This is also a call to action for you to actively release parts of your personality that you don't need anymore. It's ok to become the actual person you are now. The parts of you that you no longer identify with are dead weight. 

SAGITTARIUS - Career or job is a big focus for you right now. Making money makes nearly everyone happy. You have good money making juju in your favor right now, so jump on it. Mercury in Virgo transiting your 10th house gives you a keen ability to problem solve in the public sector. If you need some PR, you might be the best person to do it! Boredom is a huge motivation killer for you, but everything in life isn’t an adventure. Jobs are sometimes boring so learn to be reliable and dependable and don’t fall into the trap of something having to be deep and meaningful every hour of the day.

CAPRICORN - You are both the counselor and the client at the moment. On one hand, you may be giving advice about relationships, but you also may need some of your own wisdom. Your problem solving abilities and skills for spotting the flaw in things has given you a wisdom not everyone has. You are always one of the wisest people in your group anyway, but If you don’t currently have friends who you can lean on for advice, it might be time for a tribe upgrade.

AQUARIUS - “Work” is a strong focus for you at the moment. Not necessarily “career”, so much as the day to day grind within it. Does your routine work for you? If it causes you stress either because it’s too loose or too rigid, make some changes. A good routine can soothe you when life is crazy. Bust out the catnip - Leo New Moon - BitchScopes for July 25-31

This is a week I look forward to every year - the Leo New Moon. I love Leo season, and this new moon will offer a lot of comfort and respite from the harsh world full of bullshit and assholery that we have all grown so exhausted from. Leo is heart centered, proud and confident, as well as playful and expressive. Even when we don’t feel confident, Leo season sprinkles a little of its magic on all of us. As with every new moon, you should take advantage of this opportunity for a fresh start by doing some work manifesting or setting intentions. 

Because I am surrounded by cats, I get a lot of Leo energy every damn day. Dogs just look at your with their plaintive eyes, as they beg for food while you eat. They are not generally as “in your face” (literally) as cats are. Cats are not subtle about what they want. One of my cats scratches at the door at night (for hours) if I don’t let him sleep with me. One lays on my face when he wants affection. One paws my face if she wants to drink from the faucet. She slaps my face in the wee hours of the morning when she wants out of my room (after she’s insisted on being in the room, mind you.) They roll on their backs when they want rubs. They push their faces into my plate when they want food. They put their butts in my face for what reason I can only guess. They just straight up as for what they want. I love dogs, but dogs are so much more people-pleasing. They are happy with the bare minimum and will tolerate so much more than cats. They are loyal to a fault. Cats on the other hand are like “love me or fuck you”.

There is a time to have dog energy, and there is a time to have cat energy. Many of us have been dogs for a long time. I think after 40, women become progressively more cat-like. I greatly admire young women in their 20’s who are as bold as my friends who are in their 40s and 50s. (I would be president of some small country if I was as bold in my 20s as I am now!)

Anyway, cats are in tune with what they want, vs. “what do you want to give me?” In addition to the other Leo traits, it also rules romance and sex. Venus conjuncts Lilith this Wednesday, so unconventional romance is possible, or it could just be a night where you let your kink fly.

The new moon is on Thursday. Set goals for achieving various kinds of satisfaction, getting your needs met, and asking for (errrr demanding?) exactly what you want. To figure that out, though, you have to listen to your heart, not your head. Mercury is active this week, so you may feel challenged to tune in to your desires vs. some intellectual rationale. Get quiet and connect with your heart, your feelings, your desires. Write them down, but state is as though it has already happened and you feel “xyz” about having/achieving it. Leo is a fire sign, so I would absolutely burn your slips of paper (have a bowl of water nearby). Art, dancing, orating, theater, and generally not giving a fuck are all very Leonine, so feel free to incorporate any of that into your ritual.

There is some tension and anxiety present in this week’s stars. Also, communication issues, the call to use your talents for the greater good, and unexpected opportunities are all on the docket. Jupiter begins its annual retrograde, this year in Aries, and this offers an opportunity to reflect on our general direction and beliefs in life. Do your beliefs support your desires and goals? Listen to your heart.


ARIES - This new moon falls in your 5th house of play, romance, and all things Leo. If you’ve been sitting on any creative projects, this Leo season is a great time to pick it back up and bring it to fruition! Jupiter will begin its retrograde in your sign over the next few months and then back into Pisces. It will start in your 1st house, so you may feel particularly introspective and desire to reexamine how you present yourself to the world. What do you believe about yourself? You may experience a mini existential crisis…why am I here and what am I doing? Or you may just change your hair do. Don’t sweat it too hard, it’s temporary and you’re doing fine!


TAURUS - The Leo new moon falls in your 4th house of home and family. Is it time to snaz up your walls? Maybe your home needs more music. GEMINI - Your conversations are about to get spicier! Leo rules your 3rd house of communication and your immediate environment and neighborhood. There could be drama when you mix Leo and Gemini! LEO - Happy new moon! RAWR. This week is all you, bitchwhiskers! The moon is dark, but the spotlight is on you. What will you say and do? What do you WANT? Examine how you do or don’t stand in your power, or ways that you give your power away too easily. Jupiter will begin its retrograde in your 9th house of experience and education. This is a natural placement for Jupiter. You may be revisiting education goals and ideas, or rehashing a travel plan. If you are traveling soon, be flexible and book your flights so that late flights don’t screw up your whole trip. It’s not like Mercury retrograde, but all retrogrades are best approached with flexibility. You may also wax a bit more philosophical and begin to reexamine your personal belief systems. Whatever it is, it's all for your highest good!

VIRGO - You’re entering deep waters this week. This Leo new moon hits your shadowy 12th house. You may just need a nap, period. You may crave a bit of solitude, or a little trip by yourself. Get reacquainted with the darker parts of yourself. Jupiter will begin its retrograde in your 8th house of secrets, taboo, intimacy, and transformation. Jupiter is also very psychic in the 8th house, especially when retrograde. Your intuition may be off the charts for a few months so take full advantage of following your gut!

LIBRA - Stop, collaborate and listen! Um…this Leo new moon hits your 11th house, so creative endeavors with associates and friends are favored. Lean on your people for inspiration. Find your muse. Be the drama queen, in a good way! Jupiter will begin its retrograde in your 7th house of partnerships. This gives you an opportunity to examine how things are going, how you show up for your loved ones and how they show up for you. Balance, or at least a reciprocal relationship, is the goal, and this time of introspection can help you get there.


SCORPIO - This Leo new moon hits your 10th house, making your career your current stage. A spoonful of sugar - BitchScopes for July 18-25

I think this will be an interesting week on a personal level. That Capricorn Full Moon last Wednesday was a bit harsh. Capricorn is no nonsense and no bullshit, and it didn’t pull any punches showing us where we need to improve in order to move ahead. This week, there’s a good amount of internal conflict, and bumping into values that we hold which are at odds with the goals we are trying to achieve. Some of us are going to feel a little “put upon” or burdened by our soul work or our life’s calling. The Sun and Mercury move into Leo, which stimulates our pride and playfulness, for better or worse. This week in the battle between work and play, work is likely to lose.

There’s a lot of nurturing and compassion and even activism that wants to happen, but those things are bumping up against a sort of crisis of self esteem. Chariklo, the wife of Chiron, is about self sovereignty and compassion, but she is in difficult aspects this week. We have a couple of tough Pluto aspects, and then we have Mars being eclipsed by the moon. This is called an “occultation”, and in this case, the willpower of Mars is temporarily “eclipsed” by our feelings, represented by the moon. Mars is Taurus is “debilitated”, but also incredibly stubborn and willful. That energy is blocked by the moon, also in Taurus. It is an internal crisis. Mars’ energy is softened by the moon, and we are forced to take a look at how we use our personal power and leadership - do we try to control others? Or do we use our powers for good, and do we have compassion, even for our opponents?

I’m tapping into Capricorn to deliver messages that you need to hear, whether you like them or not, because these are not “SugarScopes” (though a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down!) But I am softening the message with excerpts from the poetry of Hafiz, because he is romantic and joyful and hopeful and lovely!

ARIES - Ambition is a good thing, until its not. Let go of the need to constantly be the first and best and most amazing and beyond reproach perfectionist. Because guess what? You’re not actually any of those things in the bigger picture. You can be an amazing leader if you put your powers to good use. “Little by little, you will turn into stars. TAURUS - Sometimes in the quest for unshakeable security, you can be a little rudderless, exploring every avenue that looks remotely promising. But then you dig in your heels and have difficulty admitting you’ve gone down a crummy path. Don’t be afraid to put things in reverse and recalculate your course. “Now, begin to rain intelligence and compassion upon all your tender, wounded cells and realize the profound absurdity of thinking you can ever go anywhere or do anything without God’s will”. GEMINI - Knowledge is power, but focus gives your power depth and reach. On the quest to satisfy your ever mental and intellectual itch, you can run the risk of becoming a know it all, and a master of nothing. The trick is to master your own mind, and its no easy task for a Gemini. Sometimes you have to force your mind to be quiet by listening to something louder - like nature, or your lover, or your heart! “Pulling out the chair beneath your mind, and watching you fall upon God” (Hafiz)

CANCER - Selfishness is one of the most challenging things most Cancers must learn. You have to hold back some of all the goodness you sprinkle out into the world and give it to yourself! You probably were not taught to do this, so you have to learn. If you don’t, you can become a shriveled and depleted shell. “I wish I could show you, when you are lonely or in darkness, the astonishing light of your own being!” (Hafiz)

LEO - Creative people can get easily bored, and when there is not something to tackle in their own lives, they can focus too much on what’s going on in other people’s lives. Make sure you have a strong creative outlet … maybe more than one! It doesn’t have to be complicated, it just has to scratch your itch to create and emote and express and to play! “God is trying to sell you something but you don’t want to buy. CAPRICORN - Next to the words “No nonsense” in the dictionary is a picture of a Capricorn. Actions must have meaning, and wasted time and energy are terrible things. Embracing “art for art’s sake” could be good medicine for you. Challenge yourself to do something that has no purpose whatsoever! “Zero is where the real fun starts. AQUARIUS - An Aquarius that is “too emotional” is like an “honest politician” - very unlikely, very rare, and maybe non existent. Full Moon in Capricorn - BitchScopes for the week of July 11-18

Wow, the sky is busy this week. The goddess asteroids, which have been a bit quiet for the last few weeks, are back in action. I said a few weeks ago that when they re-emerged they would have a strategy, and…late last week Biden signed an executive order in an effort to protect abortion rights. Its scope is limited and temporary, and is not enough by some standards, but it is a step in the right direction. The highlight of the week is the full moon in Capricorn, which brings our compassionate, nurturing side in opposition with our steely determination. The influence of Pluto suggests our shadow will be illuminated, which means you’ll be triggered. Listen to your intuition and think outside the box to solve problems. Have you become overly hardened about some aspect of your life to preserve peace at work or at home? Release people who bring negativity to your life, and reflect on work-life balance. Allow yourself to feel the difficult feelings that may arise.

There are quite a few squares and quincunxes this week too - 36% of the transits listed are these kinds of challenges. There is also a theme of exercising independence vs. nurturing either ourselves or others. There’s a lot of sensitivity in the air, and not just from that full moon. On Wednesday, however, Mercury is “Cazimi”, which is a window of powerful, even magical insight and aha moments that occurs when Mercury is conjunct the Sun (but before it “combusts” and enters a wider orb and its weakened and then leaves conjunction). Your mind could be too busy this week, so make sure you are consciously monitoring where your thoughts are and training them to be non-limiting.


ARIES - While your thoughts are focused on home and family, your feelings will be pushed to the surface by this full moon and they are more oriented toward your career. Welcome to the opposition of a full moon. It is about finding balance to be a whole person. As Venus moves from Gemini into Cancer, you will find that the value you place on family is likely to win, at least at this time. TAURUS - You are entering a period of “coming out of your shell”. Your communication skills are great right now. Use them to put your thoughts and feelings out into the wider world, possibly by publishing something. It doesn’t have to be a “book”, and you don’t have to give a speech on a stage before hundreds. Start a blog, upload a youtube, or write some poetry. As Venus moves out of Gemini and into Cancer, you may notice yourself feeling more socially inclined as well. GEMINI - Hello sexy time. Your thoughts are focused on all things body, and your feelings will draw you toward intimacy with someone (maybe yourself?). There is also a money message here, between earning and borrowing. Are you in balance? Let this moon guide you to more stability. As Venus moves from your sign into Cancer, the things you value will shift from defining your “self” to more grounded and embodied ideals. Work on releasing shame under this full moon - “Shame and guilt keep you curled up in the fetal position in your life. In this position you cannot walk or hug or feel worthy. CANCER - While your thoughts are focused on your self, your feelings will be pushed to the surface by this full moon and they are more oriented toward relationship. Welcome to the opposition of a full moon. It is about finding balance to be a whole person. You cannot be an effective partner if you are not a well defined individual. As Venus moves from Gemini into Cancer, you will find that the value you place on developing your self likely to win, at least at this time. LEO - Hello service. Your thoughts are pointed toward healing, and your feelings will draw you toward service to others. Because Divine Design is perfect, its not surprising that one of these often leads to the other. Service to others is a powerful way to heal yourself! As Venus moves from Gemini into Cancer, you are likely to find more things that need healing. Work on releasing fear under this full moon - “You can’t just “let go” of your fear. VIRGO - Creativity meets ingenuity. SAGITTARIUS - Hello intimacy. Your thoughts are focused on things you share with others (including yourself), and your feelings are focused on your personal body and resources that are solely yours. Also, are you in financial balance? Let this moon guide you to more stability between what you keep and what you offer. As Venus moves from Gemini into Cancer, your relationships may naturally deepen. Don’t worry about how things will happen and just allow things to flow. Work on releasing control and worry under this full moon - “Worry is exhausting and causes wrinkles. Ask instead “what could go right?”’ (from my “Sweary Spirituality” Deck #2)

CAPRICORN - Happy full moon to you! This is an opposition between the Sun (your drives) and the moon (your feelings). While your thoughts are focused on your current relationships (which include business relationships), your feelings are asking you to not push your own needs aside. This full moon is likely to shed light on the latter, making sure you don’t leave your self behind on the road to commitment. As Venus moves from Gemini into Cancer, relationships with others gain more weight and focus. PISCES - Hello thinking outside the box. You very much want to do things that are creative, but this full moon might remind you to reassess your hopes and dreams so that your creative endeavors are pointed in the right direction. Once again you are being guided to more play. Heal and embrace your inner child. Why so Sirius - BitchScopes for July 4-11

Okay so here we are in July, a little more than halfway through 2022.  This month is supposed to be gentler than the last couple.  I feel a little jaded by the political events of the past few weeks/months (years?). But as usual, I’m trying to find the glittery silver lining in this dumpster fire. There is some juicy stuff happening this month in the stars. This week we have Mars entering Taurus, Mercury entering Cancer, and Pallas entering Gemini. So that looks something like, digging our heels in, talking about our feelings, and having genius insights. 

Right off the bat this week we have a conjunction of the Sun and the star Sirius. Sirius is sometimes called our “spiritual sun”. So this conjunction can be a time of spiritual renewal and recharge, and goddess knows we need it! We can gain a sense of clarity about our purpose and path.

There’s quite a bit of raw potential in the stars right now in the form of creativity, problem solving, and just raw energetic resources. This is a good time to do some planning for the short and long term future, as well as just getting work done.

There is some possibility for relationship tension and general insecurity. But Mercury is very active this week and making some great connections that will enhance communication.

Much of the energy is happening in Cancer (Sun, Mercury, Ceres, Lilith, Sirius) so that’ll be the focus of your scopes this week.



ARIES - Hey Aries! All the Cancerian activity happens in your 4th house of home and family. You could be receiving some significant downloads in regards to your family, ancestry, generational trauma and patterns, and things of that nature. You might get some flashes of insight about your parents that help you understand them better. Communication with your family, or the people you live with, should be smooth for most of this month. I don’t rule out events regarding your actual house or living arrangements, though it is less likely. If you are looking for a place, don’t overlook people you know who have connections.

TAURUS - Taurus! Mars moves into your sign, which could provide needed motivation and drive. It might just be the drive to nap, but hey, that’s part of why we love you. All the Cancerian activity happens in your 3rd house. Communication is highlighted this week anyway, and the 3rd house rules communication. This house also rules siblings and neighbors and social activities too. So you may have some communication breakthrough with a sibling, or be nominated to chair the neighborhood watch program. Problem solving will be a natural inclination for you this month, so take advantage.

GEMINI - Hey! My people! (quirky check in:  How many beverage containers are around you right now? How many post it notes? hee hee. )  The Cancerian activity lights up your 2nd house of earned income. This could possibly be a lucrative week for business, so don’t rest on your laurels too much. You should take advantage of this week/month to do some financial planning. Maybe redo your budget and you might be pleasantly surprised. Your already sharp mind might receive some really good downloads that give you a needed leg up in business or money matters, or maybe a new spiritual business path. Pallas moves into your sign, and she’s a brilliant strategist already; so paired with your mental acuity, you stand to have some lightbulb moments.

CANCER - Well it's Cancer season, and this week has your energy all over it. The sun is in your 1st house of self, and so is Mercury. It is natural to have self on the brain during this time of year. You often don’t put yourself first when you should, so accept this invitation from the universe to focus on you. You could have some epiphanies about yourself and how you operate in the world. Communication is strong for you right now, although because you are a water sign, feelings are likely to color your thoughts and words. That is perfectly healthy! Happy Birthday!

LEO - Meow, Leo! So, the Cancer action happens in your 12th house. The 12th house is always deep and frankly, weird. It’s shadowy and messy in there. It’s like going in to the storage unit you’ve been renting for 10 years but haven’t been inside in all that time. So you may find yourself having some deep psychic insights and dreams that are meaningful (or just weird nonsense. The unconscious mind has to purge, as it can’t hold everything indefinitely.) Your communication may just be with your shadow, and that is important work. Do what you can leading up to your birthday and then you can get your rawr on.

VIRGO - I love this month for you. The Cancer activity takes place in your 11th house of hope and dreams and the people who help you get there. You could have some revelations about the people that are (or are not) in your court. Maybe relationships have changed. Are you in alignment witht he dreams on your vision board (or in your head)? As we change, goals and friends change. So this is a great time for you to sort of take inventory and reassess your vision board so it aligns with who you are today.

LIBRA - Am I crazy (rhetorical, thank you.) or do we talk about your career a lot? Well we are talking about it again. This week’s Cancer activity happens in your 10th house. Communication is really favored in your work life right now. If you have any presentations to make or interviews, or things up for publishing, the timing is great! You may have some unexpected aha moments in regard to your spiritual path, or work/side work that is a bit more soul-centered. You can have both a traditional job and a job that fulfills your soul needs. Chances are you’ve been sifting through some old feelings and wounds, so you may be feeling a bit tender. Be kind to yourself as you heal. Healing is not easy and pretty and tada…it’s painful and yukky and hard. But it is worth it! You are worth it! You deserve a life of joy.

SCORPIO - I feel like your inner fire is coming back to life. It never went out, but I do feel as though you’ve been trudging more than skipping, and that the fire has been a bit dimmer. Hide it under a bushel, no! Good for you. This week’s Cancer action takes place in your 9th house. As that fire awakens, you are likely to want to experience more of life. Travel might be on your short list. Also, if you’re feeling bored, this is a great time to infuse your spirit with some new energy and information. Take a class, learn a language. Go to a workshop. It doesn’t need to be practical or job related. It just needs to sound like fun.

SAGITTARIUS - This week’s Cancer energy is floating around in your 8th house. The 8th house is quite deep and asks you for commitment to the process. Intimacy is a key word here. You must know yourself intimately before you can share yourself fully with someone else. If there are painful issues coming up for you, know that you are safe to process them. You might also have some sudden insights about money, or loans, and decide to pull the trigger on something financially.

CAPRICORN - Hey Cappie. Your 7th house of relationships is activated this week by the Cancer energy. You may experience better communication with your partner (barring any difficult aspects in individual or synastry charts), or have some major breakthroughs or insights about something in the relationship. There is some relationship tension floating around in general, but this week looks to me like whatever it is, you get through it intact. The 7th house also rules professional partnerships, so if there is something you need to say to your work people, communication is favored for you right now!

AQUARIUS - Hey weirdo! Routine? Schedule? What are those strange words? Aquarians are generally pretty loose when it comes to routines, and with school being out now, you may feel a bit wobbly, intellectually. Find a routine and get yourself grounded into it. It doesn’t need to be rigid. This week’s Cancerian energy is in your 6th house of health and habits. You should find organization and mental tasks easier than usual. If you don’t, don’t force it. But I would encourage you to try to get some kind of daily routine going, even if its just a good sleep and wake schedule. If you have any health concerns, this week you might get some answers and insights about what’s going on.

PISCES - Hi fishy fishy! “Why are you sleeping?!” (it’s a quote from Finding Nemo). Wake up and get your hands on some joy! Your 5th house is activated by the Cancer energy this week, so children, joy, play, romance, and fun are all highlighted for you. Play can be very therapeutic and you might receive some valuable psychic insights if you engage in some non intellectual, non spiritual activities. Just play with something because it's fun and it feels good! Ease up on yourself a bit - you deserve joy!
