Chaos, Panic, and Disorder…right after this nap - BitchScopes for the week of October 31st and the Lunar Eclipse in Taurus

Whew. That's the longest blog title I've ever had! I truly do need a nap, so I'll cut to the chase - Whatever is coming up for you from the past, get ready to scrub it off and heal. It is time to face discomfort that might be trying to get your attention so that you can move beyond where you are. Sometimes when we read horoscopes, particularly ones that include dramatic events like eclipses, our mind thinks of absolutes: losing jobs, breaking ups, bankruptcy. Those kinds of extremes are unusual. In my personal experience since I’ve been an aware person, it is much more like an onion. I’m not a botanist so I’m 1000% sure this isn’t how actual onions work, but for human onions, the center of the onion keeps growing and expanding upward, causing the outer layers to start to peel back. Those outer layers are blocking the sunshine of our spirit and they’re basically just in the way. Every change inducing event peels those outer, old layers back a little more, or peels one off all the way. An extreme event would be like if you’re prepping an onion for chopping and you peel back several layers at once. So these eclipses do definitely help us shed those no-longer-needed layers faster than normal, and while it usually isn’t a chopping type situation (except for the tears perhaps), it can be unsettling depending on your personal onion situation.

Anyway, this is a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Taurus. A full moon lunar eclipse is like a full moon on steroids, and we know that full moons can be whackadoo. Taurus is the sign of comfort, stability, material possessions, luxury, sensuality, love and money. So emotional instability and insecurity is likely (warn your friends who work in emergency services, haha…no…seriously.) Relationships that feel shaky now are likely to undergo some real come-to-Jesus moments, and solid relationships will likely feel strengthened when the dust settles.

Full moons have a way of outing information and shining a light on secrets. This moon is opposite Uranus, which will create some chaos and unexpected jolts. But the real “oh shit” moment is that this eclipse happens ON election day. I really hope we don’t have any

January 6th type bullshit, but there could be some major upsets. I know I’m hoping for a couple upsets in my state, but I know no matter what, 50% of us are going to be unhappy. Taurus is a conservative sign, but also represents a digging in of heels. So I wouldn’t begin to try to predict how this might play out.
This is a total lunar eclipse, also called a "blood moon" because the Earth passes between the sun and moon and casts a reddish shadow on the moon.  We won't have another total lunar eclipse until 2025 (there are eclipses every year, but not always total), so it bears repeating that we pay attention, and be grateful for the guidance/jump start/shove.  Ground yourself, rest, meditate, and tune in to your feelings and intuition

That happens on Tuesday, and I’m covering it in this week’s scopes so you can sort of prepare yourself, to the extent that is possible. I doubt anyone could accurately anticipate what will happen, but the fact that we know some shit’s about to go down gives us a leg up.

So let me backtrack and tell you about the week of Monday November 1st thru the 7th -

There’s a prominent relationship energy this week. Healing past wounds, crappy relationship habits, and self worth are all on the docket. It looks to me from the transits leading up to the eclipse that they are giving us a taste of what to expect. Words like “agitation”, “awkward”, “growth”, “misunderstood”, “adjustments” and “frustration” populate many of the transits. In fact there is not a lot of career or ambition type energy at all, and that makes sense because Mars is officially retrograde now. All our drives are going to feel a bit of a downshift. I usually feel things in advance, even when I am not at all aware of them, or have consciously forgotten. As I write this (Sat 10/29 and Sun 10/30) Mars is stationing retrograde and is either extremely slow or still. I feel completely drained, tired, sleepy, drugged, and achey. Is this a taste of Mars retrograde on my ascendant? FML. Let me know what you’re feeling. You may feel similar vibes based on Mars’ placement in your chart (see last week’s scopes). There are 2 "no pants days" this week! That's 3 Fridays in a row. Good thing I don't wear pants, because I'm too tired to take mine off!

Alrighty so, who is ready to have an awesomely awkward week? Woohoo!!! I would offer some kind of solace but bitches, I am tired. Good night!

ARIES - You know how when you change purses (or backpacks or whatever) you leave behind all kinds of crumbs and papers and change in the bottom? This full moon is going to shine a bright light into the bottom of your bank account. Ew.  The way you handle money is definitely up for examination. The Sun is in the 8th house of debts and the Full Moon is in the 2nd house of money earned. But this isn't necessarily a bad thing. After you realize that you've been paying for some stupid shit you don't need anymore and make all the numbers behave, you might also have some realizations about how you can make money in a new way.

TAURUS - Hey, good news! Closeness with your significant other or object of desire is likely to increase in the wake of this moon.  Make sure you are operating at a mature level, and not as your old self. You'll be harshly reminded if you backslide.  This full moon is also in your 1st house of self,  and the ripples of energy that come from this will last for months and set you on a new path that is more in alignment with how you feel on the inside.  In the short term, you should start to see some of the fruits of your recent efforts.

GEMINI - I'm starting to feel a bit singled out as a Gemini.  I'm joking, but it's true.  With Mars in our sign for so many months, half of it in retrograde, we are getting a break from burnout, a chance to rest and reset, and now, this moon shines a light in the back of our closet- the 12th house. Have you ever moved house and when you get your closet emptied there's just a bunch of movie tickets, gum wrappers, sweet n low packets,  lost earrings and other detritus? That's what this full moon will illuminate. Old patterns and projects you've lost track of, as well as old fears can all come up again.  It isn't to torture you (us.  I'm biting my lip with you!) - it's to scrub off that crap so growth can occur. When you start to feel bajiggity, remember your weird-ass 12th house is being activated.  It's happening for us, not to us.

CANCER - Some old talents and skills you haven't used or thought about in quite awhile could come in handy and bring in some new opportunities for you. You might meet some new people as a result of this "old" gift.  In the wake of this eclipse energy, you may start to see more clearly, the intentions and motivations, as well as the gifts of the people around you on a regular basis. If you're in a management position, this is a fantastic gift of insight.  If you aren't already, pay attention to your dream life, as you may get creative hits and ideas from your unconscious. Overall there's an emphasis on good stuff you've forgotten about.

LEO - Am I crazy (that's rhetorical. Sit down, Amanda) or have I talked a lot about your career this year? Well here we are. This full moon illuminates your public life. If you have an active social media presence, it could get kicked up a notch in the next few months.  You have Mars in your 11th house as well, which could give a boost to your social life in general, but also to your dreams and long term goals.  At any rate, your career life is getting a rejuvenating hit. The path that brings you joy is the correct path. If you're not on it yet, you will be! Be sure you are not neglecting your home and family during periods of growth and inspiration...its easy to do.

VIRGO -
This full moon lights up your 9th house of beliefs. You could have some insights or a glimpse of your future and your life once you've reached your goals.  A full moon in this house has a way of shining a light on the truth. Sagittarius is the ruler of the 9th and gives zero fucks about hurting feelings, it only cares about truth for truth's sake.  The sun is in Scorpio in your 3rd house of information as well. So if you are looking for answers, you will get them. All of this seems to point toward your career rather than your personal life (Mars is in your 10th), but I can't rule anything out. The point is that if your path no longer aligns with who you are, you gotta face it and move ahead to the next phase.

LIBRA - This full moon happens in your transformational 8th house of other people's stuff.  This can be debts, financial obligations, or psychological stuff.  In the case of the latter, look to your partner and see what is coming up between you from their closet. Or maybe you're carrying a lot of the emotional weight in the relationship (or not enough...either way, the scales are off). Things may also be completed or finalized at this time...like emotional baggage from past relationships, or financial debts and payment plans. Mars is in your 9th house so legal matters could be finalized between now and March. Intimacy is favored during this time if everyone is in their truth.

SCORPIO - This period of time could shake up relationships, or how you feel about them.  Solid relationships will benefit, but shaky relationships might be up for reconsideration. With this full moon illuminating other people, you can see them more clearly and know how to move forward.  There is such a thing as compromise, but the sun is in your 1st house of self, so don't throw yourself and your needs under the bus to keep the peace. You have to be honest with yourself.  Be somewhat gentle with yourself and with your partner during this time - because you know how you are. This placement also rules contractual work agreements and employee-employer relationships.

SAGITTARIUS - Pay attention to your body for the next few weeks, as a full moon here can illuminate issues that you weren't aware of.  This placement can also call attention to habits, routines and work projects that aren't working anymore or are no longer needed.  There might be changes afoot in your workplace that change your tasks, routine, or location.  Additionally, this is the house of service, so you might feel like you're not doing meaningful enough work.  Volunteer work is the perfect scratch for that kind of itch, and this is the time of year where it is pretty easy to find ways to give to others.

CAPRICORN - As I've mentioned, Mars is in your 6th house, possibly causing some energy shifts in your workplace, or the type of work you do.  That feeds into a loop with the planets involved in this eclipse.  Your 5th house of creating and 11th house of dreams are activated by this full moon.  You are likely to feel more inspired and creative, or realize that you are lacking inspiration, during these transits. F-u-n.  If there was ever a sign that eternally needed to experience more joy, baby it's you.  Take in some artsy stuff over the next couple of months. Don't worry about the work stuff, because you're solid and your career intuition is strong.

AQUARIUS - This full moon can bring things into completion at home - like finally getting the last boxes unpacked (speaking for myself).  Or you may have some realizations that you are not paying enough attention to your family because you are caught up in philanthropy or (likely at this time) politics.  Mars is in your creativity sector, so you may feel creatively fired up, or like someone unplugged your ideas machine.  Either way, this all seems to point to home. Taurus is about security, both financial and emotional. But Taurus is also a fantastic decorator, so maybe it's time to jazz things up. Get your family together and involved.

PISCES - This full moon takes place in your 3rd house, so things regarding siblings, your neighborhood, neighbors, social media and communication are  highlighted.  In fact this moon shines a pretty bright light on these things.  Mars is in  your 4th house of home and family as well.  Perhaps there are projects that you've been putting off at home or in your family that are starting to show their wear.  Information that hasn't been available to you can suddenly pop up out of the blue.  It might be as simple as getting a new neighbor. But if you are in any kind of publishing or broadcasting, the deal that you've been waiting for or that you didn't even know existed may show up.
