Re-Feminist History (aka Bitchstory)

There are SIX quincunxes this week. I find the quincunx aspect very interesting, but after having a DOZEN of them in August, and having felt the sting of their awkward adjustment energy, I’m over it. Next! More trines please! There are 5 more  quincunxes  in the remainder of September, making at least 11, and possibly making September at least somewhat similar to August (shit!) and some degree of uncomfortable... Again. Still. As usual. Ad nauseum. Fuck. I will say that I feel that  the slates were mostly cleared in August and that in September we begin to start something from scratch.  The New Moon in Virgo is a great opportunity for us to set intentions for creating and inviting things in our lives that we care about, activities that matter to us, and relationships that serve us better than the ones we left behind in August. The ground IS fertile. Because even after a fire scorches the earth, little green saplings will poke through the destruction as they reach for...

Well we have another heavy hitting week in the sky. I can’t remember a time when we didn’t. I honestly try to keep it light and hopeful around here, but the planets don’t lie. I am, however, an eternal optimist, and I do believe that difficult times give way to better times. The chaos that we feel individually is happening globally and to the whole collective. That is no consolation, really, but the point is, there are massive shifts happening and it's uncomfortable, but ultimately for our benefit. This week, the stand out event to me is Pluto (in Capricorn) square Eris (in Aries). Eris has been stirring things up since her discovery and addition to our collective consciousness in 2003. When she dances with Pluto, it is always a dance of passion. And by “passion” I don’t mean romance. Passion is about suffering. These 2 planets are constantly vying for supremacy. DejaVu?   In July we had a full moon in Aquarius, and this month we have another. There’s something about Aquary..us (its a reference to “there’s something about Mary”) - we have to pay attention to this. Aquarius rules technology, the future, change, doing things differently, freedom, community, humanitarianism and innovation. Jupiter is conjunct this moon, so whatever you (we) are releasing, it could be pretty obvious. Let’s talk about change… What hasn’t changed for all of us in the last 2 years? Life is very different. Society is changed. Interactions are altered. Jobs are evolving. We are being forced to do things in a new way. We aren’t particularly happy about most of it, but we have ALL been swept into these changes. The fact that this pandemic...this seemingly unending, ridiculous, awful, scary pandemic...is global is not to be ignored. This isn’t just the USA having to do something new, or any one country. WE ALL do. We have to look at the climate crisis ...
