Re-Feminist History (aka Bitchstory)

This appears to be a very sensitive week we have coming up. The highlight is the New Moon in Aries, which is potent for starting new projects and taking action on things. But Chiron is ever-present this week, reminding us of where it hurts. Our reaction to the stimuli can vary from deep self nurturing to hostility. That means you might withdraw, or you might lash out…and it means others may withdraw from or lash out at you as well. Committed relationships are likely to lean in to each other, whereas competitors may really “poke the bear”. Speaking of the bear… Biden has been in Ukraine, visiting with some of the millions of refugees. In Putin’s chart, this new moon occurs in his 6th house, whereas it occurs in Zelensky’s 11th house. The 11th house transit is a very optimistic one which can rally hope and new support from his allies. Putin is having to work much harder than he anticipated. There is a lot of Mercury activity this week, as well as Neptune, and various aspects to the North Node, and a sprinkling of Mars. This makes me think that there’s a lot that will transpire to put you on, or move you forward on your path, but none of it will be immediately clear to you. The mercury transits are all quite positive and empowering, but with this much aspect activity, you may feel more anxious because Mercury rules the nervous system. Neptune can also make you feel a bit disconnected. Neptune puts us in touch with your intuition and creativity, but can make things foggy and hard to grasp. Grounding is going to be very important this week. Also, tune in to that intuition, because it is going to play a crucial role for you this week. Mars makes some interesting connections this week, and they are all a little obscure. First Chiron, then Uranus, then Pallas. Mars and Chiron can facilitate healing. I had to check and double check and triple check to make sure I wasn’t missing anything this week. There are remarkably few transits, compared to other weeks. This is the least amount of transits I’ve seen in a week in all the time I’ve been writing horoscopes! What does it mean? Well it doesn’t mean nothing is happening, that’s for sure. My intuitive feeling about this is that we are all a bit curled up and nervously watching things unfold in Ukraine. We are in Pisces season, so we feel more connected and recognize in a deep way that we are one people. This brutality and senseless destruction in Ukraine hurts us to watch.  I think things are going to heat up on the world stage this week. We are already seeing that as I write this (on the 4th). Individually, our energy is just pulled in. Life looks like business as usual, but it is anything but ordinary under the surface, and behind the scenes. Monday the 14th things start to pick up a bit, but I’ll get into that next week....

It’s going to be an interesting week at the “office”, judging by the asteroids. The only major planetary transits (aside from the moon, which I don’t cover here) involve Neptune and Uranus to Mars, Venus and Mercury. Neptune imparts his usual dreamy, foggy romantic vibes, while Uranus and Mercury can make us a little nervous and bajiggity. All of the remaining transits I have listed involve the asteroids and Eris (a dwarf planet like Pluto) and pertain to work, and are challenging aspects (square and quincunx). Because Mars and Venus have been conjunct, they take turns having the same aspects to Lilith, Eris, and Vesta. Mars represents the masculine, Venus represents the feminine. Eris and Lilith represent the feminine warrior and the rebellious nature of the feminine and the fight to not be dominated.
