The Galactic Center, no big deal...BitchScopes for Nov 1 - 8

My favorite part of writing BitchScopes might be when I look at all the transits to determine what the theme is of the week. It’s pretty cool what happens in my brain and it seems to be almost an audible experience inside my head. That describes Mercury pretty accurately. And this week there is a lot of Mercury! Deep thinking and exploration of our beliefs, philosophies and ethics are going to happen this week. You may not be so aware of it if you are not a Mercury ruled person, but it will be happening. There is a very strong theme of discovering our deeper, and maybe even our Divine, purposes here. Work, passion projects, and the area of your life where you are most devoted are all emphasized as well. Personal relationships make a brief visit to the party, but mostly in the form of how your partnership fits into your Divine purpose and soul’s journey. The North Node (The lessons we must learn in this life; where we are headed) is pretty strong this week, and we have the appe...

"Because you're worth it" BitchScopes for October 25 - November 1

The Sun is in Scorpio now, and this is one of my favorite transits and times of the year. My love for this season is in part due to the weather, but I also just love the energy of this time of year. I feel like people are more open somehow. Or maybe they just feel easier to read, since I am an empath. The other side feels nearer, which is strangely comforting. This week has some intense moments. Scorpio is part of that, but the Sun squares Saturn on Saturday and that can be a bit of a downer for some. However, some people feel productive and focused during that aspect. There is definitely room for productivity, discovery, and power plays this week. Mercury is a bit all over the place, so we may be a bit moody and maybe even conflicted. When Mercury moves into Scorpio on the 5th, that conflict will melt away and be replaced with clarity and depth. Until then, we may be better served by just focusing on ourselves and enjoying whatever is around to offer enjoyment. Interactions wi...

Aries Full Moon - Tempers and Power Struggles - BitchScopes for October 18 - 25

Oh boy. I think we are in for a high energy week. There is a significant amount of Martian energy, as well as a Full Moon in Mars’ home sign of Aries. Things may go from passive aggressive to plain ol’ aggressive. The good news is we are likely to feel motivated about our goals and dreams. The uncomfortable part is that we may be a little too gung ho and run over some people on our way to our desired destination. This full moon is one that we need to keep an eye on, and by that I mean we need to keep an eye on ourselves. This moon squares Pluto, and since full moons have a tendency to make us more emotional in general, you can bet this one is no exception. Things that have been simmering on your irritation stove may come to a full rolling boil. Right after the moon is full, Mars opposes Eris and squares Pluto, and that’s not a pile of cotton balls, kids. And then, the Sun sinks into deep Scorpio waters for us to dive deep and see what we can bring up from the depths for transform...

Full Speed Ahead, Captain! (well, almost...) BitchScopes for October 11-18

Alrighty, bitches...lets see what’s crackalackin! This week I get this feeling of us sort of being pulled in and sort of quietly reflecting or spending some time alone. There is a lot going on and we may just need a moment to gather our thoughts. We could feel both optimistic, and maybe a bit let down by a previous over optimistic period. But I don’t sense anything terrible or dramatic. Sunday could be a rough day as power struggles and egoic expression are likely. So that is a great day to stay home and do something you enjoy. Monday has a lot of positive juju, as both Mercury and Jupiter station direction. Jupiter has been retrograde since May, and the way I like to think of this transit is “out with the old, in with the new”. This time of year, as we both literally and figuratively reap what we’ve sown, Jupiter direct blows  and clears a space for the new things we’ve been attempting to manifest. Mercury direct will just make certain annoyances and broken bullshit...

New Moon in Libra - BitchScopes for 10/4-10/11

Well Bitches, I hate to say it, but I think this week could be frustrating. There’s a lot of Uranus activity, several quincunxes, and a couple planets stationing direct. I love a New Moon, which we have on Wednesday in Libra...however this moon is conjunct Mars and quincunx Uranus...so impulsiveness, nervousness and tension are very possible. There is, however, a good chance that if there are tensions or conflicts, parties will be more willing to come to an agreement than they might otherwise be. That’s thanks to the Libra stellium on that day: The Sun, Moon, Mercury & Mars. This offers the day a considerable amount of Libran harmony. Saturn and Pluto both station direct this week, and Venus moves into Sagittarius. When there are planets stationing or ingressing, we have to take a beat to readjust. Flexibility and sea legs will be helpful tools this week. But also, don’t forget to pack your “biting your tongue” clamp, your “ego adjustment” wrench, and your “keeping your tempe...

Crepuscular Afflatus - BitchScopes for September 27 - October 4

Well if you are feeling a bit unclear about the direction of your energy, your goals, etc., perhaps this will help you understand why: Pluto retrograde in Capricorn Jupiter retrograde in Aquarius Neptune retrograde in Pisces Uranus retrograde in Taurus Saturn retrograde in Aquarius Mercury retrograde in Libra This retrograde-a-palooza happens every year, with a minor change up in the starring characters. All of the outer planets retrograde every year for about half the year. We know Mercury retrogrades 3-4 times a year for about 3 weeks each. Venus and Mars only retrograde once every 18-24 months. The latter 2 are the most noticeable for many people. We do have Venus retrograde at the very end of this year. Mars won’t retrograde until October 2022. Because the majority of our planets retrograde regularly and for several months each, and due to the fact that the outer planets tend to offer less personal fuckery and more social issues, retrogrades do not really jack with us individua...

A week of revelations - Bitchscopes for September 20-27

Well the good news is there are NO quincunxes this week! Woohoo. There is one pretty tough square between Mercury and Pluto, and that could make things a bit intense. That aspect will be repeated because Mercury retrograde will be going back over that area, so that is a theme to keep an eye on. There are two oppositions this week, and those can be a bit unpredictable. Oppositions get a bad rap in astrology, in my opinion. They aren’t the same energy as squares, which are definitely a strong conflict. But even squares have their positive side, because they act like an impetus and can be very motivating. Oppositions are not necessarily the scary & negative thing that they are made out to be. Like 2 people who are exact opposites, sometimes it can be stimulating, interesting, and juicy. Sometimes it can be annoying. This week we have 4 trines, which are the sweetest aspect. Trines are natural and easy, and point to things that come naturally to us. We may not even notice thes...
